The formal inauguration of the SPC was held on the 30th of August 2010.The Chief Guests were Receive at the entrance in a hilarious way with band display by the Depaul School students and the Drum and Band display by the professionals. The IG, Dr. B sandhya IPS was formally saluted by the Student Police Cadets. Prof. Jessy Antony (Municipal Chair Persopn presided over the function. The inauguration was done by Dr. B Sandhya IPS (IG Ernakilam Range) She stimulated the pupils through her inspiring oratory. She insisted that the hallmark of ones life should be discipline. She reminded us about the need to mould the new generation preparing them to serve selflessly. She hoped that this Cadets would be the role modals for the common public. On this occasion Sri George Varghese IPS (SP Idukki) distributed the identity cards to the Cadets. Pass books were distributed by Smt Jessy Joseph (DD Edn Iddukki)Sri V U Kuriakose (DySP CD) conscientised the cadets about their roles and responsibilities. Rev. Fr Kuriakose Kodakkallil blessed the pupils on this occasion.
